Since inception, Bay Colony Golf Club has been committed to maintaining the traditions of the "grand old game of golf, " in an unhurried, refined and leisurely environment a privileged and limited few.
The 18-hole championship golf course was designed by Robert von Hagge in 1996 with related practice facilities for driving, putting, chipping and sand practice.
Robert von Hagge has created some of the world's most outstanding and award-winning courses.
He has been responsible for the design, redesign or partial design of over 250 golf courses in the United States, Caribbean and twenty eight foreign countries.

The Bay Colony Golf Club course offers virtually every type of challenge a golfer could ask for. Host of the Ace Senior PGA Classic for three years, the course was one of the favorites among tour pros. Bay Colony Golf Club has also hosted:
- Local and regional US Open qualifiers
- The Women's Senior Amatuer Championship
- The Mid-Senior Pro Am.
Today, the course is exclusive to members and invited guests.

Ladies' Day is Wednesday, Men's Day is Thursday, and "toss up games" are coordinated every Tuesday and Saturday.
The men's and ladies' golf program is led by the PGA certified Director of Golf and complemented by a world-class team of six male and female PGA professionals.
All provide superior member services and golf instruction to encourage the development of all golfers. Golf is an individual game, so instruction, whether individual, clinics, short game golf school or on-course golf instruction, is personalized, intuitive and rewarding.
